Flamingo Park Miami is an 36.53 acre park which dates back to 1950.
In 2002, the newly redesigned Flamingo Pool was re-opened and in 2005 playground was opened along with a large excellent football field.
As of 2006 there are still renovations being made as part of the capital improvements G.O. bond project.
There are three main entrances to the Park that will lead you down the center, 11th Street and Jefferson Avenue, 13th Street and Michigan Avenue and 13th Street and Meridian Avenue.Flamingo Park has two separate pool areas.
The main pool, an 8-lane lap pool that is aerated in the summer and heated in the winter to maintain an 82 - 84 degree temperature.
And the water playground, a zero to 15 inch depth interactive/play pool.
There are locker rooms and showers available.
The pool offers birthday party rentals and swimming classes. Pool Hours of Operation

Adults: Free ($6 non-residents)
