Miami Shopping Kmart is a chain of discount department stores in the United States. It was founded in 1899 as the S. S. Kresge Company (Detroit, Michigan) and in 1962 as Kmart. Kmart Headquarters are in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Kmart has more than a thousand stores across the U.S. Kmart became known for its "Blue Light Specials". Miami Shopping Barnes & Noble is the largest book retailer in the United States, headquartered in Fifth Avenue in Lower Manhattan, New York City. The company operates more than 750 stores in the U.S. Barnes & Noble originated in 1873 when Charles Barnes opened a book-printing business in Wheaton, Illinois.
